And it's official...

Austin is walking.
Please excuse his crazy outfit, he was on outfit #3 at this point due to his high volume drool output. I tend to stop caring about matching clothes after outfit #1. Plus he looks pretty hilarious when he is running around in crazy clothes ;o)

Rock a bye baby...in the high chair!

Austin was reluctant to take a nap today (surprise, surprise) and by the time he started getting sleepy it was lunch time. My rookie mommy move was to try to get him to take a few bites of some yogurt before I put him down so he wouldn't wake up starving (and ticked off). He was holding on tight to a pizza crust from my lunch, and started to doze shortly after we placed him in the high chair. But the little guy kept on eating! The video is kind of long, but the end is totally worth it.

Now that our favorite little Taylor has 5 teeth and one more about to cut loose we decided it was time to start with toothbrushing.
Little toothbrush- check.
Little tube of cartoon character fluoride free toothpaste- check.
Teeth- check.
Unwilling participant- check.

Where did February go?

Unfortunately, it is becoming increasingly difficult to do any work on the computer now that Austin is a bit taller and has a new love for the cordless mouse and keyboard. Somehow he managed to open a Word document, edit it, and close it before I could figure out what the heck was going on with the computer. So most of my blogging must now be done when he is sweetly slumbering. Here are a few picture to keep the natives happy until I can upload some hilarious video of the little man running around the house with his walker.
