We took Austin skiing for the first time few weeks ago on a local mountain, and he has been asking to go again. Unfortunately Mother Nature hasn't cooperated with that one very important element needed for good skiing- snow. But we have already decided that he will be going to ski school next year. Did I mention that Chris couldn't be happier?
Baby ski boots.
I die from the cuteness.
Already picking up bunnies.
Testing out the helmet.
Tiny, tiny skis.
Again, I die.
He was a pro. No whining. He just popped those boots right in. Or clipped. Whatever.
Like Bambi! On skis.
The face of concentration.
Getting used to the skis.
Giving it a try, and making sure he wasn't going to freak out.
This is when I ran into the ski shop to get him his own goggles.
Tiny, tiny, goggles.
Ready for the hill!
Off they go! On a magic carpet ride!
Weeeeee!!!!!
This is when I started having a heart attack because of how FAST they were going.
But of course Austin loved it.
Proud Papa after several runs.
We had to convince Austin that if he went in for lunch he could come back out and ski some more.
Break time.
Attention ski bunnies in 14 years:
Ye have been warned.
He will only grow more handsome with time!
Giving Daddy's helmet and goggles a try.
Eye of the tiger.
More fast runs.
*Cough cough* Mommy doesn't ski.
Yet.
The sweetest sight.
Fin.
