Hammer time

This past week Austin has become progressively more daring when it comes to walking and standing. He now crawls over to his push toy, pulls himself up, and proceeds to walk around the house at a speed that makes his mother nervous and his father proud. He is also pulling himself up to standing on EVERYTHING. TV screens, unsuspecting dogs, even his toys that are only a few inches off the ground. Ladies and gentlemen, I believe we are dangerously close to our first visit to Stride Rite for a pair of walking shoes. And then next door for Mommy a new pair of running shoes.

" A Priest and a Rabbi walk into a bar..."

Trying to figure out how to scale the cool fort daddy made him.

In other news, Austin received a birthday box from one of my good friends, Tracy. Austin's favorite thing in the box? The wooden hammer that came with a very cool ball toy. Of course my genius child figured the toy out in no time, and then moved on to the REAL fun. Crawling around with the hammer and banging on everything. Here is the score so far:

Hammer 1 Cable Box 0
Hammer 137 Floor 0
Hammer 2 Mommy's face 0

Hmmm. What shall I hammer next?

Unfortunately he has mastered the innocent look.
