A Day Out...

with Thomas! The train. You know, the blue one? If you have a toddler boy, then you know who I am talking about. In fact, you probably own at least one Thomas the Tank Engine and about 500 of his buddies. And the tracks that go with them. And some building accessories. And the DVDs.
A few weekends ago we piled into the CRV and drove an hour and a half to spend the day at an old train station with Austin's favorite train and give that sweet little blue engine some more of our money. Austin was in toddler boy heaven, and I have the 2.3 billion photos to prove it.

Welcome to your overstimulation for the day.

There he is. The one, the only, Thomas. I can sing the theme song for you if you would like.

Strolling along the tracks.

The balloon that was as big as Austin.
Good thing we bought that first so we could carry it around all day.

Going through Austin's mind- "OH. MY. GOSH."

Austin's tooting his own whistle.

Waiting patiently...

Getting ready to board Thomas!

Tiny anticipation.

Our tickets to ride Thomas.

We got our tickets stamped!

That one river. You know. The one I can't remember the name of? Wait- the Hudson!

Watching the scenery go by.

Ahh. The sweet lull of the train.

Asking why he can't take THIS train home.

First deep fried dough.

So tired. Not even enough energy to eat a chicken nugget. Either that or he was full from all the funnel cake.
